and the amount of gold pyrite it contains. The richer its royal blue color and
the less white it contains, the more powerful is the Lapis. Therapeutic Lapis
should also contain a substantial amount of gold pyrite flecks but not to the
point of overpowering the blue areas. Lower-quality Lapis is usually dyed to enhance its color and make it seem higher in quality. Unfortunately, any dye applied to Lapis clogs its pores and renders it non-therapeutic. |
