Rhodochrosite occurs in a wide range of clarity from rock to opalescent gem. If you
imagine this range as a vertical line, at the very top is Rhodochrosite that is so
translucent, the entire sphere displays opalescence; at the bottom is Rhodochrosite
that is so rock-like and dense that its vibrations cannot reach beyond the physical
level. Rhodochrosite that is rock-like or contains rock matrix or any other foreign
material, such as brown or black spots or blemishes, is not therapeutic. Although therapeutic Rhodochrosite exhibits a wide range of clarity, its color falls within a relatively narrow spectrum - from watermelon and rose pink on one end to orange-pink on the other. The deeper and more vibrant the color of the Rhodochrosite, the more powerful its effects will be. Therapeutic-quality Rhodochrosite can be divided into four quality categories: Fine, Very Fine, Exquisite, and Exquisite-Plus. Fine-quality Rhodochrosite displays the minimum parameters for therapeutic quality and will support Rhodochrosite's therapeutic mission. It contains some white bands and some mildly translucent areas. Very Fine has fewer white bands or patches of white and is clearly translucent or even somewhat opalescent. Exquisite-quality Rhodochrosite has very few bands or patches of white. It is opalescent as well as translucent. Exquisite-Plus is free or nearly free from white and is in an altogether different league. It is the most translucent and opalescent. The crystalline matrix of Exquisite-Plus Rhodochrosite is a whisper of physicality. It does not recognize the difference between the physical, emotional, and mental aspects and therefore works with each of them equally and with the knowledge that each is a part of your whole being. Other therapeutic-quality Rhodochrosite must focus on one level at a time, whereas Exquisite-Plus can work on all aspects at once. When working with Rhodochrosite, high quality is essential; the higher the quality of Rhodochrosite, the better the results. Indeed, the more translucent the Rhodochrosite, the faster and more powerfully it will work. To produce the most profound changes, therapeutic-quality spheres eight millimeters or larger are required.
