IN THIS CHAPTER: We meet the Guardian of Lapis Lazuli The Egyptian Era Harmonizing Heart and Mind Soul's Journey |

I prepared to meet the Guardian of Lapis Lazuli and once again found myself hovering in space and looking down
on the Earth. Michael, as usual, was at my side. As we watched the Earth below, the light illuminating the planet began to bend. It was as though the Earth's image was printed on transparent paper, and some giant unseen hand was folding the paper over and over again. Paradoxically, no matter how many times it was folded, the Earth's image remained the same size. Then it came to me that I was watching the planet move backward in time. Suddenly I was back on the Earth. In front of me loomed a massive gold throne. On it sat a middle-aged man wearing a gold crown and blue and gold robes. His eyes were as royal blue as his garments. I am the Guardian of Lapis Lazuli. I brought you to this time in history so you could see it was my power that gave all the kings of this era their power. I was a gemstone like no other. We will remain in this time in history until I have answered your questions about the past. When we are done, we shall unfold time and return to the point from which we started. Then we will speak of the present and of the future. I do not have a specific purpose or mission, either for the Earth or for its people. This is because I was not brought here to have a particular effect. I was given to your planet in exchange for a large quantity of something that was taken from the Earth. I do not know what I was exchanged for. I do know that the people living on the Earth at that time had nothing to do with the exchange. Furthermore, those who made this exchange had no idea that what they were giving to the Earth would become so powerful. They did not know that when the Lapis Lazuli was planted in the Earth, the planet's vibratory rate would make the Lapis very potent. Those who left the Lapis have never returned to your planet. If they had, they might have been surprised at the way Lapis reacted to the Earth's atmosphere and at the powerful effects it had on the people who wore it. Lapis Lazuli is not plentiful in the physical universe. However, it is abundant on a few planets, including the one from which I come. Interestingly, Lapis reacts quite differently to each planet, whether it is brought there or grows there naturally. You may wonder why so many crystals have been planted on the Earth. Yet it's not surprising when you consider how many races of people are comfortable with and adept at interplanetary travel. Trade creates a diversity among planets, just as it does among the nations of the Earth. For example, because of such trade, the Japanese eat hamburgers and wear blue jeans, and Americans eat sushi and drive Japanese cars. "Do you know when Lapis was brought here?" Michael asked. It was during the Age of Atlantis. However, my greatest strength was realized during the Egyptian era. Although Earth people today associate Lapis with Egypt, I was used in many places on the planet. The Egyptian Era "What effects did you have on the Earth and its people during the Egyptian era?" My vibratory rate acts like a stimulant for the Earth. I send waves of stimulation through the channels of the Earth to the various power points, charging them in the process. I do the same thing for the physical bodies of human beings: I stimulate their channels and power points. You call the body's channels "energy meridians," and you call its power points "acupuncture points" and "chakras." During my prime, this stimulation of the meridians and chakras was strong and its effects were profound. The fact that my energy flooded every chakra appeared to defy the laws of nature, and my energy gave those who wore me the awareness of how they could further bend those laws. Particularly profound was the effect I had when my energy opened the higher chakras. The individuals of that time were not accustomed to having their higher chakras opened and stimulated. These people were more physically oriented. Their attention was rooted in the Earth, and they drew most of their energy from their lower chakras. The powers they experienced when their higher chakras were opened were great. Indeed, it gave them tremendous power over the minds of those who did not possess Lapis Lazuli and over many natural forces such as gravity. "Did Lapis have anything to do with the building of the pyramids of Egypt?" Although Lapis was not directly involved, many of the architectural feats accomplished during the Egyptian era could not have been done without my presence. Remember, I gave those who wore Lapis Lazuli physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual powers. I was worn by the royalty. The powers I granted made the royalty seem like gods to the people who did not wear Lapis. Lapis gave its wearers the awareness, understanding, and ability to accept the presence of interplanetary visitors. These visitors helped them build the pyramids. Without Lapis, leaders of the time would not have been able to accept what the extraterrestrials wished to build on their land. The pyramids were built for many reasons, and they had multiple functions. In them were burial chambers and places for initiations and secret classes. There were also rooms where energies converged in such a way that great healings and transformations could occur. These particular rooms also served as terminals where people could be transported to other places, not only in consciousness but physically as well. "Do you mean that people could be transported to other places on this planet or to other planets?" Both. This transportation was mostly enjoyed by the royalty, who often made a game of transporting themselves from one pyramid to another. However, it was also practiced for the beneficial effects of the expanded state of awareness gained when they entered one pyramid and exited another. "I can see how that could change one's concepts." Exactly, and shatter one's limitations. "Can this still be done in the Egyptian pyramids?" The pyramids have been destroyed. They are not what they once were. "Can any pyramid be used for transportation?" Michael pursued. Only if the transportation is done on the level of consciousness. It was not just the shape of the Egyptian pyramids and the way the energies flowed around them that allowed physical transportation to occur. Layers of special material were laid beneath the transportation chambers. This material played with the forces of gravity and magnetism. There were other forces involved too, but we are not here to talk about the pyramids. People enjoy hearing about the past. However, the past cannot be accurately verified. My effects in the present can be verified, either scientifically or through direct personal experience. "Shall we return to the present?" suggested Michael. Yes. Instantly we found ourselves hovering over the Earth again. This time the Earth's image began to open up and unfold. When it was finished, I noticed that some geographical changes had taken place. Harmonizing Heart and Mind Since the Egyptian era, my energy has waned considerably. Today my stimulating effects on the Earth have become mild. Instead of affecting the entire planet, I can only stimulate the areas within a certain radius of where I am found. My effect on people's meridians and chakras is also a fraction of what it used to be. Now my focus is primarily on the heart, throat, brow, and crown chakras. Those who are attracted to Lapis are attracted strongly. The energy I radiate can touch people very deeply. It touches them through the heart and the mind. Lapis can help people experience the energy and power they possess within. This power is greatest when one's heart energy combines with one's mental energy--in other words, when the emotional and mental aspects are working in harmony and are not at odds with each other. I work on creating a greater connection, communication, and understanding between one's emotions and mind. When feelings are brought to the mind, mental processes become richer, more fruitful, and bountiful. When mental processes touch the emotions, the emotions become understood. The establishment of a good connection between the heart and mind opens many possibilities. It expands horizons and increases one's potential. Often we are our own hardest masters. When our hearts and minds are working in harmony, among other things, we tend to become easier on ourselves. I bring a feeling of relief that can be felt within moments of connecting with Lapis' energy. This feeling may be one of the reasons people are drawn to me. I can help people break free of past situations that may be causing them problems today. I do this especially for those who have had an association with Lapis in the past or who were incarnated during the time I was in my prime, regardless of where on the planet they lived. I can help these people most, because they have already made a connection with Lapis Lazuli. Of course, I can also benefit those who have not had a connection with Lapis. I give my wearers courage and the fearless, adventurous spirit needed to realize their dreams. I show them their dreams and help them feel that they can attain them. Once you feel you can attain your dreams, resources will be drawn to you like iron filings to a magnet. If you continue to wear me, I will also help you realize these dreams. The vibratory rate of my royal blue color affects people deeply. This is because it touches the optic nerve in an unusual way. Your optic nerve picks up impressions of what you see with your physical eyes as well as impressions of what you see in your dreams and inner visions. All these impressions stimulate this nerve, which is connected to the part of the brain that serves as the storehouse for memories. The vibratory rate of my color impresses the optic nerve in a way that reminds the brain of a primordial memory. This memory is from the individual's core. It is a memory of that which links the individual to his or her source. "What do you mean by source?" Michael asked. God. And it is not only my color that reminds people of the energy or Spirit that connects them with God. The vibratory rate of Lapis itself also plays a large part in stimulating the optic nerve, and hence the brain, to recall this memory. For this reason, people are also comforted by my royal blue color, though they may not know why. When people feel comfortable, they feel freer, and with freedom comes confidence. This confidence is what allows people to start remembering all the things they want to be and to connect more deeply with their goals and aspirations and dreams. Soul's Journey "You have the reputation for being wise, and I sense your wisdom. I have wondered what the overall purpose of gemstones is. Do you know why Spirit has created them?" Michael asked. From one point of view, Soul is on a journey home. Before Soul can reach its goal and return to its own infinite source, it must master many lessons and develop many strengths. Along the way much help is provided. On Soul's journey are signposts, guiding lights, and spiritual paths, as well as spiritual masters, guides, healers, and other helpers. Tools, such as books and gemstones, are also provided for Soul. All of these are available to help individual Souls fulfill their destinies and return to their true home in God, the infinite source of all life. Each of these helpers of Soul is distinct and different. Each is powerful and not to be underestimated. "So, gemstones are another set of tools available to assist Soul," concluded Michael. Yes. Gemstones are among the many tools provided to assist Soul, whether or not Soul uses them. Those who are wise use the tools that lie at their feet rather than struggle constantly with their bare hands. Yes, God created your hands, but God also created tools. "Is it common for wearers of gemstones to have dream experiences about the gemstones they are wearing?" This is truer today than it has ever been. Today awareness is expanding and invisible clouds are being removed from people's consciousness. The Gemstone Guardians themselves are being given a greater awareness of their own capabilities. In other words, we have been given the awareness of how to work directly with people. We can teach people and work with them in their dreams, meditations, and contemplations as well as in the waking state. Although we always could work with people, and some of us have done so, today we are being asked to work more directly with them. We have also been asked to work more directly with each other. "Why do you think this is happening at this time?" Destiny. It was predicted eons ago that there would be a time when, in the semi-darkness, a greater light would start to shine. That time is now. Since the end of the last century, an opening and awakening has been occurring. This is happening everywhere--on every planet in every galaxy, in every universe, and on every plane of existence. Everywhere there is a rejoicing. Yet with this opening, awakening, and brightening comes a profound responsibility. With it come many lessons, and perhaps many hardships, for it is also an opportunity to grow. Growth means change, and change means letting go of things that are no longer necessary, though we may hold them very dear. We cannot remain attached to who we were and grow at the same time. This opening began with a crack in the door, and slowly, slowly, the door is opening. By now it has only opened a few inches, but it will continue to open for some time to come. It is indeed an interesting time you have been born in. I have spoken only briefly about the effects of Lapis, of what happens when the mind and emotions work together, hand in hand. I cannot overemphasize the importance of connecting these two aspects. In that connection is Lapis's power. It is very simple. Indeed, Lapis works so simply that it can be easily overlooked. Those who are fortunate enough to own a strand of high-quality Lapis spheres are indeed blessed with a powerful tool. Feel the power I radiate today, and then imagine what I must have been like in my prime when my abilities on this planet were one or two hundred times what they are today. It is awesome, humbling, and perhaps even frightening to realize the power and potential of those who wore me in the ancient days. "Is there anything else you would like to share?" The beginning pianist can only play a few notes at one time and make them sound beautiful. But a master pianist can play a seemingly infinite number of notes and make them sound even more beautiful. You are working toward mastery of Spirit and Self. Since Spirit is life, there is no reason that this mastery cannot be reflected in the mastery of everything you do in life. You have experienced time and again the plight of the beginning pianist struggling to make a composition sound beautiful. You will all have to work on mastering greater and greater pieces of music. Set your sights in that direction, and you will attain it. It takes practice to become a master, yet the potential to do so is available to everyone. Lapis Lazuli can help you attain mastery, perhaps more so than any other gemstone. This may be mastery of bread baking, piano playing, or Spirit itself. To become a master, first you must see your goal and then you must feel that you have attained it. I can help you have these feelings. I can help you see your goals and dreams and give you the courage to attain them. Michael, you have experienced Lapis Lazuli before. Let it play music in your heart. Let it strike the chords, for they have been played before. And don't accept your own limitations. "That is good advice. Thank you very much," Michael replied. Now I shall leave you. May the blessings be. "May the blessings be." The Guardian of Lapis departed, and I sped through a tunnel of light so quickly that the atmosphere around me shook. Several moments later, I found myself back on the Earth, sitting comfortably on the living room sofa. |
